JUNIOR ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
(30 hours p/week, temporary position, term time only)

The Scots School Bathurst & Lithgow is a co-educational Day and Boarding School from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. There is a strong community of boarder students from Year 6. The Scots School is made up of two campuses- the main one is at Bathurst, approximately 200 km west of Sydney and the Lithgow campus caters for students from Pre Kindergarten to Year 6. The Scots School is a work of the Presbyterian Church in NSW.

The Scots School Bathurst is seeking to employ a part time temporary Administration officer in our growing Junior School, commencing on Monday 29th January 2018 and concluding on Wednesday 5th December 2018.

Selection Criteria

• Well-developed interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
• A strong customer-service focus with an ability to be an effective public interface for the school.
• Very well organised, flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.
• Experience with computer applications including data bases, word processing, email, web technologies and school based apps like Schoolstream.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Work independently and unsupervised.
• Supportive of the Christian ethos of the School.

JUNIOR SCHOOL CLASSROOM TEACHER

The Scots School Bathurst & Lithgow is a co-educational Day and Boarding School from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. There is a strong community of boarder students from Year 6. The Scots School is made up of two campuses- the main one is at Bathurst, approximately 200 km west of Sydney and the Lithgow campus caters for students from Pre Kindergarten to Year 6. The Scots School is a work of the Presbyterian Church in NSW.

The Scots School Bathurst is seeking to employ a full time temporary classroom teacher commencing on Monday 29th January 2018 and concluding on Wednesday 5th December 2018.

Selection Criteria
The successful applicant should possess:
• a commitment to engaging with a Christian world view and understanding of the Christian faith.
• appropriate tertiary qualifications and accreditation with NESA.
• an ability to engage students in their learning through exceptional classroom practices.
• a demonstrated ability to cater for the individualised needs of learners.
• an excellent understanding of the NESA syllabi.
• enthusiasm and willingness to participate in co-curricula activities and contribute to the broader life of the school community.
• an understanding of and ability to use a range of ICT tools and resources to support teaching and learning.
• a valid Working with Children Check
• current First Aid and CPR certificates.

The Scots School is a work of the Presbyterian Church in NSW.

The Scots School Bathurst is seeking to employ a part time temporary music teacher (Kindergarten- Year 6) commencing on Monday 29th January 2018 and concluding on Wednesday 5th December 2018.

Selection Criteria
The successful applicant should possess:
a commitment to engaging with a Christian world view and understanding of the Christian faith;
• appropriate tertiary qualifications and accreditation with NESA;
• highly effective interpersonal skills;
• a commitment to ongoing professional learning;
• demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team;
• knowledge and capacity to implement effective and engaging learning and assessment practices within the area of Music and or/ performing arts;
• excellence in teaching Music K-6, and experience leading choirs and school bands.
• a Working with Children Check clearance;
• must have full registration with BOSTES (with a minimum provisional or conditional accreditation status)
