The
Scots School Preparatory
The
Scots Preparatory School provides high-level care for each individual. Our small
class sizes provide students with the greatest opportunity to achieve their potential
in a nurturing environment which addresses the emotional, spiritual and mental
development of each child.
It is our aim that Scots Preparatory School students feel empowered in their learning,
encouraged to succeed and responsible for their actions.
We
believe that the single most important factor in determining an individual's success
is self esteem.
The
Scots Preparatory School is committed to this, and the belief that children learn
best in a vibrant, caring environment where they are happy and feel loved.
We
encourage them to have concern for themselves, for others and the world they live
in.
We
want them to be confident that they can contribute, and as leaders, influence
others for a common good.
We
inspire them 'to be the best they can be.'
As
a small school we are able to maintain small class sizes ensuring that children
receive maximum individual attention and programs designed to meet their learning
needs. Regular monitoring of student achievement is reported to parents and where
necessary, shared goals set.
Being
small also means enormous opportunity for students to experience, to grow, and
to shine.
It
means having a personal relationship with each and every staff member and making
genuine friendships with girls and boys across all grades.
It means belonging to a strong school community working towards a common goal.
Being small really does make a difference.
Children
at the Scots Preparatory School look forward to many annual Special Events.
The
Preparatory School students are involved in a wide range of co curricular activities
utilising the extensive facilities available on the spacious K - 12 campus.
