Year 7 Experience Day Friday 26th February 2016

The Year 7 2016 Experience Day for students entering Year 7 in 2017 will be held on Friday 26 February.
All current Year 6 students at Scots, scholarship applicants for next year
and 2009 Pre-Kindergarten students have been sent an invitation.
If you know anyone currently in Year 6 and looking for a fabulous school,
please suggest they attend our Experience Day. All they need to do
is contact Mrs Lynda Ireland,our Enrolments and Promotions Officer,
to let her know they will be attending and she will let them
know what to bring to maximise their enjoyment of the day.
This is a fun day for the students and a great way to experience The Scots School.

PARENT WEEKEND and P&F Charity Concert and BBQ this Saturday 24th October 2015

There are a number of events for parents and students to attend this weekend;
• School sport – Friday Night and Saturday
• P & F Charity Concert and BBQ at 6pm outside the Performing Arts Centre with funds raised going to
• Parent Weekend Chapel Service and Induction of School Prefects -9.30am Sunday
• The P & F Annual General Meeting after Chapel at about 11am. The P & F are only holding the AGM at
this time with the normal business meeting on this Wednesday at 5.30pm. Accordingly, the AGM should
only take about 20 minutes.
• Friends of Rugby and Friends of Pipes & Drums will hold a meeting immediately after the P & F AGM.
The Chapel Service is compulsory for all students. If you have a very significant engagement clash, please
apply for leave to the Headmaster no later than Wednesday. The Parent Weekends and Chapel Services are a
very important part of our School community.

The Blue Black and Gold Ball is on Saturday 7th November and this year will be held at the Beau Brown Pavilion.  If you haven't been before I encourage you to arrange a table with friends or contact Belinda Boshier at The Scots School who will find a spot for you possible on a table with parents from your child's' year group.
